Ancillary Specialist

Randstad has a temporary to hire Ancillary Specialist position available.  Position is located onsite in the East End of Louisville. Will have hybrid option after training. The Ancillary Specialist is responsible for processing orders for various medical equipment and services. This role requires competently and efficiently performing all tasks relative to the order intake process in a friendly, professional manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in the durable medical equipment (DME) field, with a solid understanding of insurance and medical terminology, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.  

salary: $17 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Efficiently manage and process incoming orders for various medical equipment and ancillary services from start to finish.

• Intake Management: Perform all tasks relative to the order intake process accurately, ensuring a friendly and professional experience for all stakeholders.

• Communication: Utilize formal business language to communicate effectively in written form, ensuring impeccable spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

• Process Improvement: Review current processes and procedures proactively, suggesting innovative process improvements or solutions to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Crisis & Confidentiality Management: Handle challenging or crisis situations calmly and professionally while strictly maintaining confidential patient, financial, and company information.
