Position Summary:

The Training Coordinator supports employee onboarding, training facilitation, and ongoing learning initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering training sessions, assisting with training materials and documentation, and ensuring employees receive a consistent and engaging onboarding and development experience. The Training Coordinator will partner with our Learning & Development Partner and other department leaders to support operational training needs while helping reinforce company processes, systems, and service standards within a fast-paced third-party logistics environment. This position is ideal for an organized, people-oriented individual that’s passionate about this industry, developing people, and helping our employees and teams grow!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and training sessions
  • Assist with delivering role-specific operational training for employees across departments
  • Prepare training materials, presentations, handouts, guides, and learning resources
  • Schedule training sessions, meetings, and follow-up coaching activities
  • Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and completion tracking
  • Support the creation and organization of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
  • Partner with department leaders to ensure training content remains accurate and up to date
  • Provide employees with guidance and support during onboarding and training periods
  • Observe employee progress and communicate training feedback to leadership
  • Assisting in identifying opportunities to improve training effectiveness and employee engagement
  • Support ongoing learning and development initiatives across the organization
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with employees at all levels
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Industry experience preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in training, onboarding, customer service, recruiting, teaching, facilitation, operations, or administrative support preferred

  • Experience in presenting information, leading groups, or facilitating discussions is preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook, Canva preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn company systems, processes, and operational workflows
