Warehouse Operator I

Responsibilities Prepares customer orders for shipment, ensuring quantities, destinations, and routing match work orders. Receives and unloads incoming materials, compares packing slips with purchase orders for accuracy, and processes return shipments. Uses UPS Worldship and FedEx Ship Manager to process packages. Inspects shipments for damages or defects, records discrepancies, and notifies supervisor, purchasing, and quality control personnel. Operates dolly, pallet jack, forklift, and shrink‑wrap machine as required. Follows Department of Transportation’s Hazardous Materials Regulations (49CFR, Parts 171‑180) if certified. Supports inventory management through cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and other tasks to maintain stock accuracy. Performs miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED. At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing ingredient plant (preferred). Fork truck certification. Strong organizational, documentation, and math skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in GMP and food safety work environments. Strong customer focus and problem‑solving abilities. Must follow safety requirements and ensure team adherence to PPE standards (safety shoes, glasses, face shield, respirator).
