As the Logistics Project Manager, you will lead, coordinate, and oversee logistics and supply chain projects from initiation to completion. This role involves streamlining operations, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while optimizing costs and efficiency.As the Logistics Project Manager, your role involves overseeing the entire process for Logistics projects currently in progress. This includes managing Contractors, controlling costs and budgets, obtaining permits, optimizing routes, handling transportation tool returns, coordinating deliveries to the project site, and supporting vessel operations. You will play a key role in supporting the supply chain operations of our company by managing personnel and processes to ensure efficient distribution of goods. Your responsibilities also include managing orders, overseeing order fulfillment cycles, and ensuring that supplies and materials are processed through the delivery system safely and effectively.WHAT YOU’LL DOResponsible for the End-to-End process for assigned projectsManagement and ownership of budget for all assigned projectsOwnership of execution of logistic supplier contracts on assigned projectsCompletes customs documentation forms with designated carriers, brokers, and forwarders.Lead meetings, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to senior managementEnsuring Nordex safety and instructions are being followed during all port operations including discharge of vessel, storage, and trucking loadingEnsuring route surveys are completed and provided in accordance with contractual milestonesPlan, execute, and monitor logistics and supply chain projects aligned with company goals and client requirements.Responsible for management of all route improvements for components are completed to execute contractual delivery schedules.Support port operations to ensure all logistic stakeholders are adhering to company safety and instructional processesManage risk and develop contingency plans to handle disruptions in supply chain operationsProvides information regarding industry requirements to assist with negotiations and transportation contracts.Responsible for ensuring all logistic suppliers have proper permits to execute project operationResponsible for all return logistics of assigned projectsCollaborate with transportation suppliers, procurement, and internal stakeholdersUtilize logistics software and project management tools to track KPIs and performance metricsCommunicate status of shipments and deliveriesResolve logistical issues and project roadblocks proactively and efficientlyMonitors cost and performance improvements by analyzing cost drivers, processes, and specifications for improvement opportunities.Creates Commercial Invoices / Packing ListOther responsibilities as assignedStays informed of logistics technology advances and applies appropriate technology to improve logistics processes.Other duties as assignedWHAT YOU HAVEBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (3-5 years) required3+ years’ experience in transportation planning/project cargo requiredAbility to read and understand scopes of work and MSA contractsKnowledge of import/export regulations for different countries and compliancesExperience working with cost models and/or performing cost analysisExcellent Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocationKnowledge of SAP is preferredStrong process and data analysis focusDemonstrated understanding of international and domestic transportation documentation requirementsKnowledge of rigging and lifting tooling is a plusAbility to travel domestically and internationally in a short time to meet with project stakeholders and with internal colleaguesExcellent oral, written, organization, and interpersonal l skills; strong attention to detailFollow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written formStrong computer skills including advanced proficiency in MS office applications (i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Demonstrated ability/experience working in a constantly changing environmentFluency in English mandatory. French, Spanish or German is a plusDriving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy.
