We are creating a modern wellness destination where members can experience multiple wellness and recovery services under one roof, including cryotherapy, cold plunge, infrared sauna, contrast therapy, red light therapy, compression therapy, oxygen therapy, halotherapy, and IV wellness services.We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Studio Manager to join our team and help drive membership growth at our new Richardson–CityLine location.Position OverviewThe Sales Manager will be responsible for driving membership sales, generating new leads, building community partnerships, identifying and participating in local events, and coaching the Wellness Associate team to achieve sales goals.This is a hands-on sales position. The Sales Manager will be expected to actively go into the community, identify opportunities to generate new business, establish relationships with local businesses and organizations, secure event and partnership opportunities, and represent Degree Wellness at community events.The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable prospecting, networking, making connections, asking for the business, and turning community relationships into memberships.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Membership GrowthDrive individual and studio-wide membership sales and consistently work toward monthly sales goals.Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through membership conversion.Follow up with leads through phone calls, text messages, email, and other approved communication channels.Conduct membership consultations and studio tours.Educate prospective members about Degree Wellness services, memberships, pricing, and benefits.Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate wellness services and membership options.Maintain an active pipeline of prospective members.Re-engage previous leads and prospects who have not yet joined.Develop strategies to increase membership conversions, upgrades, referrals, and retention.Actively prospect for new members through community outreach, networking, partnerships, events, and other sales opportunities.Community Outreach & Business DevelopmentProactively identify and pursue local community outreach opportunities that can generate leads and membership sales.Research and identify local events, festivals, markets, networking events, health and wellness events, corporate events, and other opportunities where Degree Wellness can participate.Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, fitness studios, salons, spas, healthcare providers, apartment communities, employers, schools, community organizations, and other potential referral partners.Approach businesses and organizations to develop mutually beneficial partnerships and cross-promotional opportunities.Contact event organizers and secure opportunities for Degree Wellness to participate as a vendor, sponsor, exhibitor, or wellness partner.Create and maintain a pipeline of upcoming community events and partnership opportunities.Represent Degree Wellness professionally when networking with business owners, community leaders, event organizers, and prospective members.Look for creative opportunities to increase Degree Wellness visibility and generate new leads within the Richardson–CityLine community.Track leads and memberships generated from community outreach, partnerships, and events.Event Leadership & SalesTake ownership of planning and leading Degree Wellness participation at community events.Identify events that align with our target customer and have potential to generate memberships.Coordinate event participation, including communication with event organizers and internal preparation.Help organize promotional materials, equipment, giveaways, membership information, and other event needs.Lead the Degree Wellness team at events and ensure a professional and engaging presence.Engage with attendees, educate them about Degree Wellness, and generate qualified leads.Conduct membership consultations and sell memberships directly at events.Follow up with event leads promptly and convert event contacts into memberships.Track event performance, including leads generated, memberships sold, and overall return on the event.Recommend which events and partnerships should be continued based on results.Team Sales LeadershipCoach and motivate Wellness Associates to achieve individual and studio-wide sales goals.Train team members on membership sales, lead follow-up, consultations, and closing techniques.Lead by example by actively participating in sales, outreach, networking, and events.Set clear sales expectations and hold team members accountable for performance.Monitor individual and team sales performance.Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and sales development.Share successful sales strategies and best practices with the team.Member Experience & RetentionBuild strong relationships with members and prospective members.Ensure every prospect receives a professional, informative, and welcoming experience.Follow up with new members to encourage engagement and utilization of their membership.Identify opportunities to improve member retention and satisfaction.Address sales-related questions and concerns professionally.Encourage referrals and word-of-mouth growth.Sales Administration & ReportingMaintain accurate lead and sales information in the studio's systems.Track leads, follow-ups, appointments, conversions, memberships, and sales activity.Track leads and memberships generated through events, partnerships, and community outreach.Monitor key sales performance indicators.Provide regular sales updates and performance reports to the franchise owner.Assist with sales forecasting, goal setting, and sales planning.Maintain an organized calendar of upcoming events, networking opportunities, and community partnerships.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of sales experience preferred.Previous experience in business development, membership sales, fitness, wellness, hospitality, healthcare, retail, or consultative sales is a plus.Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and performance targets.Strong communication, relationship-building, networking, and closing skills.Confident approaching new businesses, organizations, event organizers, and prospective customers.Comfortable making outbound calls, sending follow-ups, and conducting face-to-face outreach.Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills.Highly organized with strong follow-through.Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven.Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.Professional, energetic, personable, and customer-focused.Comfortable working independently and taking initiative to find new sales opportunities.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business.Passion for wellness, fitness, recovery, or helping people improve
