This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) passionate about supporting young learners at a critical stage in their academic and social development. The assignment begins immediately and continues through June 10th, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 35 hours each week.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
• CCC or CFY considered
• Valid Connecticut teaching license required
• Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student growth
• Provide direct services to students individually and in group settings
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and goal setting
• Maintain professional records and timely communication with all stakeholders
