Some business office/clerical experience.


NICE TO HAVE: Business school diploma, fast data entry skills, and some supervisory experience.


Job Description:
We are looking for a candidate who is very detail oriented since we have many customized reports that are tied to billing, our research, and how we perform future tests. Candidate must be able to type and have good communication skills since our office often has to deal with difficult clients. Ideally, this candidate is familiar with laboratory setting and basic knowledge of science terms (eg. blood, serum, accuracy, turn-around-time, etc), medical insurance process, and computer skills.


Job Duties:
§ Data entry (daily entering new or updating patient demographics, client info, insurance information)
§ Customer Service (communicating via phone/fax/email, answering questions etc)
§ Filing Documents (store paperwork, scanning, etc)
§ Knowledge with:
o Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Sharepoint)
o LIS system LabDaq, etc)
o Insurance verification (primarily PPO's and occasionally HMO's & Problem Solving (contacting clients/patients/drs to receive any information that is needed to bill and verify/screen the information)
o Billing (processing payments, Insurance prep, monthly Invoice check/screening, ICD-10 codes etc.)

o Minimum timeframe - Six (6) months after your primary series, either a second dose of Pfizer or Moderna; two (2) months after receiving a Johnson & Johnson single dose. Ages 16 and older.
o You will have a 30-day grace period to receive your booster after your primary series.
o If you completed the Pfizer or Moderna primary series, you are required to receive a booster no later than seven (7) months after your second dose.
o If you completed the Johnson and Johnson single dose, you are required to receive a booster no later than three (3) months after your single dose.
o Additional restrictions will be in effect on January 31, 2022 for individuals who have not met the booster requirement.
o A) Unvaccinated individuals with previously approved medical or religious exemptions may retain exemption from the booster requirement. Regular COVID-19 testing cadence is every 72 hours for unvaccinated individuals
