Materials Planning professional who participates in the supply and demand planning process, and is responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness of work area. May work with internal team to develop financial forecasts.Job DescriptionPlan, order and expedite material to support production schedulesUse MRP and/or visual management tools to ensure continuous supply of materialIssue timely releases to suppliers and confirm supplier acknowledgment of releasesCommunicate and mitigate any material shortagesManage planning parameters to minimize excess & obsolete exposureLead change thru participation in improvement activitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree3 + years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logisticsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing or EngineeringCommunicate and interact with international vendorsAnalytical skillsAbility to cohesively work with various departments and outside vendorsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsPay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually.
