CT Technologist - Radiology

Role Overview The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures following established protocols to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields, while considering patient age and diagnosis to produce precise cross-sectional images. The role involves assisting in complex invasive CT examinations alongside radiologists or physicians by maintaining sterile technique and ensuring high-quality imaging. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited Radiography program Connecticut state Radiographer license required CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months of hire Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience Preferred: at least 1 year as a CT Technologist Preferred: 6 months in a hospital radiology setting Working knowledge of CT technology and venipuncture Accepting new graduates The role offers opportunities for career development within a comprehensive healthcare network, emphasizing patient care, technological advancements, and community service.
