We are growing and looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join the team. Department: Quality Care Rehab Location: Aviva Senior Living Compensation: $35.00 - $40.00 / hour We want a PTA that believes in the benefits of physical therapy and has a passion for what they do. Key Responsibilities Patient Care Implementation: Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist to address patients' specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs. Therapeutic Exercise and Activities: Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance their physical function and promote recovery. Modalities and Physical Agents: Ensure the proper application of various treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment parameters as necessary. Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies and proper body mechanics. Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor patients' responses to treatment interventions, documenting progress and communicating updates to the supervising physical therapist. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Current license/certification in the state of practice Benefits Flexible Scheduling.
