CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Summary:
Provide compassionate care to residents in a Long Term Care/Intermediate Care setting, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position requires flexibility to work rotating day and night 12-hour shifts within a healthcare environment that values quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct resident care, including hygiene, mobility, and nutritional support.
• Document resident observations and care delivered accurately using Cerner EHR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement resident care plans.
• Float within hospital departments or to nearby facilities as required, adhering to policies.
• Maintain compliance with all certifications, licensure, and facility policies.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA license in NM or a compact state, in hand at submission.
• 1+ year of experience in a long-term care or SNF environment.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate strong documentation and charting skills.
• Able to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be flexible to float and work in various departments as needed.
