Real Estate Services Agent I We are seeking a Real Estate Services Agent I to support property acquisition and right‑of‑way activities for HDR projects. Responsibilities Provide pre‑negotiation due diligence and negotiate acquisition of rights related to public or private projects. Review appraisals, research comparable properties, and provide QC review of market analysis and waiver valuations per federal and state guidelines. Verify ownership, prepare offer packages, and maintain detailed records/files with owner contacts, agency representatives and project teams. Create non‑survey quality maps, drawings, exhibits for owners during negotiations. Communicate effectively with internal staff and external clients. Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills. Educate landowners on federal, state, local agency guidelines and private industry regulations to facilitate acquisition/relocation. Apply title research and utility acquisition practices for permanent and temporary easements. Use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI) and relational databases such as ArcGIS Online. Conduct efficient internet research. Read, review, and quality‑check engineering project plans and legal descriptions. Draft real‑estate documents including deeds, easements, leases, and purchase agreements. Travel within and outside the state as necessary. Preferred Qualifications Real estate license in good standing, or equivalent, per law. Familiarity with GIS and database tools. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of real estate experience or 120 hours of documented real estate training. Understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations for real estate and right‑of‑way, including Uniform Act, FERC, NEPA. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to work flexible hours and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work confidently with clients, property owners, and occupants. Balance office and field work in a collaborative, deadline‑sensitive manner. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Availability to work flexible hours and coordinate closely with management.
