Golang Engineer

Golang Engineer We’re seeking a Golang Engineer to join our APA Loyalty Modernization team. This role is primarily focused on backend development using Golang, with an emphasis on building high-performance APIs and scalable services in a cloud-native environment. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that support our evolving loyalty platform. Location: Phoenix, AZ - Hybrid (3 days onsite, Wed, Thurs, 3rd day is candidate's choice) Team: APA Loyalty Modernization – Global Loyalty & Benefits Platform Key Responsibilities: 4–6 years of professional experience with Golang (primary language), need someone who can handle things on their own and doesn’t need their hand held too often. Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang Build scalable, cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Work with databases such as Bigtable, Spanner, Cassandra, and SQL Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Golang applications Support CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance Create system design documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing Minimum Qualifications: Strong understanding of backend service development and API design Experience with GCP and cloud-native application architecture Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and shell scripting Solid understanding of microservices and data modeling Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a global, collaborative team environment Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as an Application Engineer or similar role Experience with distributed databases such as Cassandra, Bigtable, and Spanner Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and scripting principles Passion for learning new technologies and applying them to solve real-world problems My3Tech Inc
