The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including tanker, flatbed, dump truck, and refrigerated trailer operations. Duties * Operate a variety of trucks including tankers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. * Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety compliance. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. * Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling techniques are used. * Drive manual transmission vehicles when required. Qualifications * Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tanker, flatbed, or other relevant vehicle types. * Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. * Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers is a plus. * Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred. * Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in commercial driving. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
