Central Transport LLC is one of the nation’s most reliable and technologically advanced LTL (Less-than-Truckload) carriers to date. We are privately owned and have been servicing manufacturing & retail companies of all sizes for almost 90 years now. With over 200 locations around the country, we pride ourselves on the continuous expansions that we have made and are still making strides to improve our operation systems to better service our wide network of clientele. For example, we have recently implemented 25 next-day hubs in our network to provide immediate, essential services for our customers overnight. We also hold the industry’s most modern fleet with our tractors & trailers having an average age of 2.5 years old. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of:

\n

(6AM to 4PM) ~ (Monday-Friday) ~ willingness and ability to work other shifts and weekends

Salary ranges from:

\n

$110,000 - $150,000

\n

\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

\n

\n
• 3 – 5 years of industry knowledge and experience working on tractors, trailers, and forklifts
\n
• 3 – 5 years of management or supervisory experience
\n
• Strong technical and communication skills
\n
• Ability to work in and develop a team atmosphere
\n
• Experience and understanding of working within a budget
\n
• Strong knowledge of Class 8 truck & trailer repair
\n
• Knowledge of Microsoft office
\n
• Excellent multitasking and organization skills
\n

Duties include, but are not limited to:

\n

\n
• Hiring, training, and development of mechanical staff
\n
• Maintain efficient productivity levels
\n
• Ensuring shop stays in compliance with set budget
\n
• Oversight of satellite locations with a small hourly staff
\n
• Managing parts inventory
\n
• General maintenance and repairs on company trailers
\n
• Enforce & practice all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment
\n
• Follow all D.O.T. and OSHA safety standards
