Duties/Responsibilities: - Measuring and marking materials,
- Cutting and shaping materials to fit specific requirements, and
- Inspecting finished installations to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Must be skilled in using hand and power tools, as well as machinery such as drills, saws, and grinders.
- Must follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Requires physical strength and hand-eye coordination and can maintain a high degree of accuracy throughout the installation process.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Must have at least 3 years layout fitting
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; Previous MSHA training is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for prolonged periods
- Lifting to 70 lbs.
- Crouching/bending
- Walking
- Works in many different weather conditions
