AMT / ASCP Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

MLR is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a reputable hospital located about an hour from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This full-time position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a competitive wage range of $23.25 to $35.00 per hour based on experience, and the opportunity to work in a tight-knit, rural hospital environment. The role features a 7 on, 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts, and multiple shift options are available.

Responsibilities:

• Operate specialized laboratory equipment to analyze patient samples, ensuring accuracy and reliability in test results.
• Follow established procedures and protocols to maintain high-quality control standards.
• Conduct detailed testing with precision and attention to detail.
• Work a 7 on, 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts.

AMT / ASCP Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Qualifications:

• Certification from the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in a related field.
• Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
