About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and operational efficiency. This hands-on position is not for the faint of heart; it demands a builder and an operator who can create and implement systems, workflows, and AI automations to enhance the company's capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the CEO's operating cadence, creating leverage through AI automation, and ensuring the team operates in a rhythm of clear communication and feedback. Cross-functional initiatives, particularly those that involve scaling and hiring, will also be under the Chief of Staff's purview. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a bias toward action, with a focus on making the company more capable and efficient. Applicants for the Chief of Staff role at the company should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar generalist position, ideally within an early-stage startup. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in building automations, workflows, or AI-enabled processes that have demonstrably improved efficiency. Extreme attention to detail, a high bar for quality, and the ability to learn new domains quickly are essential. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets, and have a working knowledge of key operational concepts. Strong communication skills, the ability to work with executives and all levels of the company, and a comfort with ambiguity are also key attributes. The Chief of Staff will be the glue that holds the team together, balancing the need for trust and action, and will be instrumental in the company's mission to transform the way engineers work with electronic components.
