Job Description

  • Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft individualized therapy strategies enabling them to achieve their personal goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-based interventions to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living skills.
  • Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care.
  • Educate Patients and Caregivers: Share valuable therapy insights with patients and their families to promote successful at-home progress.
  • Monitor and Adjust Treatment: Document clinical advancements and modify therapy plans as necessary, ensuring patient journeys stay on track.

Education

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Ongoing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and accepted

Certifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) registration is necessary
