Manager of Parking Operations - Hyatt Place/Hyatt House

Job Summary The Account Manager directly oversees one Tier 1 or 2 Towne Park account and is responsible for account performance for financial, guest/patient satisfaction, and client satisfaction objectives. Job Details Compensation: $60,500.00 - $70,000.00 annually. Additional compensation may include annual incentive bonuses. Paid Time Off: 0.0385 hours of PTO per hour worked up to 80 hours per calendar year. 6 paid holidays and up to 4 paid floating holidays per calendar year. Duties and Responsibilities Financial and Business Systems Management Understands and drives business metrics and performance measurements. Improves financial performance and profitability of the account. Understands contractual agreement and maximizes opportunities. Positively moves metrics for forecasting, productivity, claims, customer service, and turnover. Manages scheduling, overtime, tip reporting, and timekeeping for direct associates. Ensures forecasts, payroll and accounting reports are accurate and timely. Utilizes standardized business systems and ensures compliance. Human Resources Engaged in recruitment and hiring processes. Fosters a retainable environment for associates. Responds proactively to associate feedback, including satisfaction surveys and exit interviews. Ensures new associates receive proper orientation and training. Recognizes performance and provides growth opportunities. Provides training, coaching to improve performance. Identifies talent and develops future leaders. Conducts performance appraisals and provides feedback. Holds associate meetings and shift huddles. Uses positive discipline with accurate documentation. Delegates decision‑making appropriately. Service Management Ensures consistent guest/patient service experience on all shifts. Allocates labor resources to support service delivery. Forecasts and plans for seasonal variances with Area/District Manager and HR. Integrates client service standards with Towne Park standards. Ensures client service metrics are met and improved. Client Relations Management Develops cooperative relationships with client staff. Maintains regular meetings and communication channels. Maintains high visibility at client sites. Focuses on exceeding client objectives. Builds client loyalty and fosters net promoter relationships. Systems and Standards Uses and trains others on Towne Park systems for asset and expense control. Maintains clean work environment and completes tasks on time. Collaborates with management to meet internal and external customer needs. Treats clients and associates with courtesy, respect, and dignity. Maintains confidentiality of associate and client information. Safety and Risk Management Follows safety and security procedures. Practices preventative safety procedures. Reports accidents and incidents promptly. Uses only trained equipment. Reports safety concerns to Area/District Manager. Ensures associate safety training and loss‑prevention procedures. Reports claims timely and cooperates with Risk Management. Enforces disciplinary process for at‑fault claims and safety violations. Responds promptly to safety concerns. Manages worker’s compensation cases with HR. Adheres to employment and payroll policies to limit exposure to claims. Sales Responsibilities Maintains client relationships for references and new opportunities. Advises leadership and sales of ownership/brand changes. Monitors client business for growth opportunities. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Effectively plans, sets priorities, and manages complex projects under pressure. Strong work ethic, drive, energy, persistence. Maintains stability and professionalism in challenging situations. Computer proficiency with MS Office and point‑of‑sale applications. Excellent written and verbal communication. Represents the company effectively across diverse cultures. Reads, analyzes, and interprets business policies, procedures, manuals, and communications. Composes professional internal/external communications. Qualifications Associate’s degree preferred; minimum two (2) years related experience or equivalent education and experience. Knowledge of accounting, human resources, and customer service practices. Must be able to drive manual transmission. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Minimum 18 years old; must pass criminal background, MVR, and drug screen. Physical Demands and Work Environment Run, stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk and hear. Vision requirements: near, distance, color, peripheral, depth, focus. Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally; push or pull 75 lbs frequently, 100 lbs occasionally. Push/pull (on wheelchair) 100–350 lbs frequently over considerable distances. Extended hours, evenings and weekends required. Travel up to 10% may be required.
