Taconic Veterinary Center, part of the Suveto network of hospitals, is looking for experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our team.

Location: Cortlandt Manor, New York

Position: Full-Time & Part-Time Veterinary Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering 24-36 hours per week. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients in both GP and ER settings.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• Perform diagnostic tests and laboratory work
• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Provide excellent client communication and education
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

• Valid NYS Veterinary Technician license
• Experience in a general practice or emergency setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development

Schedule:

• Full-Time: 36-40 hours/week
• Part-Time: 24-28 hours/week
• 1 weekend per month and rotating holidays required

Compensation:

• Hourly pay range: $25-$30 per hour, commensurate with experience
