As a member of our team, you will play a role in the entire design process including, but not limited to, BIM Revit modeling, preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, site inspection, testing, problem resolution, and drawing and specification production. We are looking for a Mechanical BIM Modeler with Revit software experience to support our NY/NJ Mechanical and Fire Life Safety team in the delivery of transportation facilities projects. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing 3D models and CAD drawings using appropriate design criteria, and technical manuals while often working closely with senior engineers under general supervision. You’ll interface with internal and external contacts and will coordinate with multiple project design disciplines for interference checking and quality control. The role involves working a hybrid, full‑time position in New York City. Qualifications Higher Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 2 years of relevant experience on Revit and AutoCAD Preferably possess an Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) Preferably possess a recognized certificate, diploma or above, preferably in BIM, or equivalent Solid experience in 3D modeling software application (Revit), BIM360 / Construction Cloud, AutoCAD Provide support to BIM manager, BIM coordinator and senior Mechanical designer in BIM implementation on projects Good command of spoken and written English Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
