Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) will be responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery of quality nursing care to clients. This role encompasses providing leadership and working cooperatively with other clinical personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care utilizing ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Provide leadership by fostering cooperative relationships with clinical personnel.
• Support organizational philosophies and goals within the clinical area.
• Uphold the philosophy of shared governance in nursing practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of RN PACU experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association are mandatory.
• Current RN license to practice in Colorado, in good standing.
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions.
