Overview Radiation Therapy Tech is a travel assignment in Glendale, California starting 06/29/2026 for 15 weeks. Earn between $2,778 and $2,942 per week with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Responsibilities Administers ionizing irradiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians Position and prepare patients for treatment, using immobilization devices as indicated Operate radiation therapy equipment and monitor treatment delivery per established protocols and safety standards Verify patient identity, treatment site, and prescribed dose; document sessions and communicate variations to the treatment team Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other team members to implement treatment plans and adjust as needed Maintain equipment readiness, perform basic QC tasks, and uphold radiation safety practices for patients and staff Requirements Active licensure/registration for radiologic therapy as required by state regulations (California) or as applicable to the assignment Current certification in radiologic technology or an equivalent credential acceptable for the role Strong knowledge of ionizing irradiation administration and adherence to safety and QA procedures Ability to work effectively in a hospital travel assignment and adhere to the day shift schedule Effective communication skills with patients and a multidisciplinary clinical team Eligibility to work in the United States and to participate in a travel assignment Benefits and Support Assignment coordination and dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment Ongoing payroll and scheduling support to address questions and needs during the rotation Travel logistics and onboarding assistance as part of the placement process Opportunities to discuss extension or additional assignments with the same employer after completion of the current contract Note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
