Job Description

We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced environment, providing critical care and support for various surgical procedures. Our facility has a total of 408 beds and features a state-of-the-art main operating room with 14 surgical suites.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for various surgical procedures including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spinal surgeries.
• Manage patient care pre-operatively and post-operatively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Utilize Meditech for electronic medical records and communication.
• Maintain patient safety and quality care standards in the operating room.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in circulating and scrubbing roles in the OR.
• Familiarity with Meditech is preferred.
