Physician - General Pediatrician - Pediatric Associates of Mobile

Responsibilities The pediatrician will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, diagnosing and treating a wide range of childhood illnesses and conditions. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine wellness examinations and developmental screenings. Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic childhood illnesses, injuries, and infections. Provide immunizations according to CDC guidelines and maintain accurate vaccination records. Counsel patients and families on proper nutrition, hygiene, growth, and development. Monitor and document patient progress and maintain thorough medical records. Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed. Educate parents/guardians about medical conditions and preventative healthcare. Adhere to medical ethics and patient confidentiality. Participate in weekend coverage rotations. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics. Valid and unrestricted Alabama medical license. Current DEA registration. Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
