License Practical Nurse

About the Role The License Practical Nurse (LPN) at US Urology Partners provides clinical support to providers of our practice. Responsibilities Direct assigned provider patient schedule throughout the day. Handle medication/script line and report adverse medication events to supervising provider. Re‑direct messages to RN, APP or provider when clinical assessments are needed. Complete all company training and in‑services, including OSHA training and PPD placements, in a timely manner. Prepare rooms and equipment for office procedures and assist with procedures. Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns within scope of practice. Maintain working knowledge of OSHA compliance standards and apply them daily. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited LPN program. Current New York state license. Current CPR certification. At least one year of medical/surgical experience preferred. Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions. Computer skills: thorough knowledge of computer information systems. Travel Requirements Travel to other clinics as needed; primarily local business day but occasional out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected. Physical Demands Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, use of hands, and reaching. Must lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work Environment Professional office environment using standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Salary Range Hourly: $22.00 - $34.00 / hour.
