Our client, a prominent healthcare provider, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the hospital's culinary services supporting patient meals and special events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a passion for quality food preparation, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Greensboro, NC

Pay Range: $18.46

Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, every other weekend and every other holiday

What's the Job?

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
• Assist in the setup and cleanup of kitchen stations before and after meal service
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality food service to patients and staff
• Follow all organizational policies and procedures to support a safe and efficient work environment

What's Needed?

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to adhere to safety and sanitation standards
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday shifts
• Must have prior cooking experience in an establishment or institution
