Pay Range: $2,655.46 $3,124.07 / week

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist for a 17-week travel assignment at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA. Operating in a Level III Trauma Center with 2 Cath Labs averaging 8 cases per day, you will perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and operate the table simultaneously during diagnostic/interventional Cath Lab procedures (LHC/RHC, NSTEMI/STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs, shockwave, temp pacers, peripheral interventions) and EP procedures (Micra, pacemakers, AICDs, lead extractions, generator changes).
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, equipment, and supplies for clinical procedures.
• Participate in unit on-call rotation (one weekday night per week; every 6th weekend) with a 30-minute response time.
• Potential to float up to once per week to sister facility in Auburn (15 minutes away) with advance notice.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• Licensure & Certifications:
  • ARRT or RCIS certification required.
  • Active Washington State Radiology/Technologist License.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience, or 2+ years of Cath Lab experience for first-time travelers.
• Skills: Strong scrub and table operation skills required. Experience with Merge hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
