What does a Senior Category Advisor do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Swire is committed to assist retail customers as unbiased industry experts to grow customer beverage sales faster than the market. These advisors will be placed in a position of high trust having access to key decision makers, customer data and retail strategy. This trust is often protected by NDA. Advisors will be expected to use their high access to influence and improve the customer's retail strategy through data driven assortment, space allocation and pricing/promotion recommendations. Successful advisors will continue to gain influence with customers as their preferred advisor and will drive customer sales faster than the market.

Responsibilities:

• Grow customer NARTD beverage sales faster than the market
• Gain trust and influence with key customers through data driven recommendations (space, assortment, merchandising, inventory and pricing/promotion)
• Data expertise in all sources of data internal/customer/syndicated
• Build next generation data capabilities within the Swire organization through DOMO
• Collaborate with other category advisors/table captains to build total advisory capabilities at Swire
• Become the NARTD beverage industry subject matter expert in all supported channels
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required and
• Business, Economics, Statistics and Applied Mathematics preferred
• 4+ years progressively responsible work experience in CPG, retail, consulting, data analytics, or related field (with preference to the beverage industry experience) required and
• 2+ years using data driven insights to influence the strategy of internal/external stakeholders required and
• Prior experience as a category manager preferred and
• Prior experience using data to identify business opportunities and implementing a strategy to address the opportunity preferred and
• Experience working with across functional teams and leading projects that span multiple functions required and
• Experience utilizing syndicated data sources (Nielsen, IRI, Spectra, etc.) required and
• Experience with space management principles & utilizing space management software (JDA Space Planning, Apollo) preferred
• Ability to analyze large volumes of data, identify trends/opportunities, develop and present strategy to internal/external decision makers
• Ability to use data to influence the strategy of key stakeholders
• Expertise in data analytics
• proficiency with DOMO/Power BI
