What You Will Enjoy Doing

You will perform in-process and final inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, drawings and quality standards. Further you will conduct inspections using precision measuring equipment and ensure proper operation of measurement devices. You will coordinate calibration programs and maintain records for inspection, testing, and verification tools and gauges. You will support Engineering and Operations in investigating, documenting and resolving quality nonconformities. Moreover you will review customer orders and contracts to verify compliance with specifications, requirements and obligations. Lastly you will maintain accurate quality documentation and product certifications, prepare laboratory test samples as required, and uphold a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

What Makes You Great

You have three to five (3–5) years of aviation industry experience preferred, with knowledge of aerospace quality standards and requirements. You will have working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102 First Article Inspection, and AMS 2750 standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong mathematical and analytical skills to evaluate product conformity against established specifications. Experienced in the use of precision inspection and measurement equipment, including micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators and surface plates. Ability to distinguish colors accurately, perform detailed inspection work, lift up to 40 pounds, and sit or stand for extended periods.
