Occupational Therapist – Acute Care in Cumming, GA. This travel assignment starts 08/09/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Earns between $2,164–$2,343 per week with 40 guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Perform OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for acute care patients across multiple diagnoses, including ICU, stroke/neurological, orthopedics, and general debility
- Plan and implement therapy interventions to improve functional independence and discharge readiness
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, nurses, therapists) to coordinate care and progression
- Document patient progress, goals, and outcomes in the Cerner Acute Care OT module with accurate, timely charting
- Reassess patient status regularly and adjust goals and treatment as needed; participate in discharge planning and caregiver education

Requirements
- Active Georgia licensure as an Occupational Therapist (GA OT) and NBCOT certification
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care specialty
- Ability to work in a hospital acute care setting
- Experience with Cerner Acute Care OT department charting or demonstrated ability to learn the Cerner system
