YOU As a Machine Operator, you will perform the tasks required to keep equipment running. You will set up equipment, troubleshoot issues, and work under the direction of the Department Manager and Team Lead(s). This role works Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm – 1:30 am, with overtime as needed. You will receive a $1.00 shift differential for every hour worked. What You’ll Be Doing Using blueprints to perform visual product inspections, verify conformance to print specifications, and track conformance using the Screw MFG Inspection sheet and SPC program (40%). Changing tools and adjusting machine settings to meet proper specifications (30%). Performing housekeeping, daily machine maintenance, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues (20%). Operating a forklift to retrieve raw material or deliver finished products to outbound staging areas (10%). Desired Skills and Experience High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Experience reading blueprints. Forklift experience. Ability to work independently or with a team. Mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety; consistently prioritize safe work practices and promote a safe work environment. Accountability and dependability; consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8–12 hours, regularly twisting, and bending in a repetitive motion. The employee may frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and sometimes heavier weights with proper equipment. Work Environment The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts. Travel Required This job requires 0% domestic travel. Work Status & Location This full‑time, hourly position is in Gallatin, TN. Relocation Relocation is not available for this position. Pay $25.00 – $29.09 per hour.
