The Opportunity We are seeking a Trader to join our Investment Team and play a key role in supporting portfolio implementation, trade execution, and investment operations. This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely, and efficient results. The right candidate will bring strong ownership, sound judgment, and a passion for helping ensure client portfolios are managed with care and precision. What You'll Do Trade Execution: Enter, monitor, and execute trades across client accounts in alignment with investment policy, model changes, cash flows, and portfolio objectives. Portfolio Support: Assist with portfolio rebalancing, transition management, and implementation of investment decisions made by the portfolio management team. Investment Operations: Coordinate with custodians, advisors, custodial trading platforms, and internal operations teams to ensure smooth processing and settlement. Accuracy and Oversight: Review orders, allocations, and confirmations to help ensure accuracy, compliance with firm procedures, and best execution practices. Cash and Holdings Management: Monitor cash needs, corporate actions, restrictions, and account-level issues that may affect trading or portfolio construction. Reporting and Reconciliation: Support trade blotter maintenance, reconciliation of exceptions, and documentation of trade activity and operational issues. Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and support enhancements to trading workflows, technology, and controls to improve efficiency and scalability. Team Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio managers, advisors, compliance, and operations to deliver a seamless investment experience. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in trading, investment operations, portfolio implementation, or a related financial services role preferred. Familiarity with custodial platforms, order management systems, portfolio accounting systems, and rebalancing tools a plus. Our current trading technology includes: Wealthscape, ClientWorks, Schwab Advisor Center, Orion / Eclipse. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data and systems. Knowledge of RIA operations, SEC compliance considerations, and trade processing preferred. Why Join Us?
