Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team. The role offers holistic exposure across the organization and the opportunity to make a significant impact as a trusted resource for the senior leadership team. Responsibilities Collaborate cross‑functionally to develop the annual budget, including detailed forecasts of expense items and revenue drivers. Develop and own portions of the monthly rolling plan, identifying and reporting key trends to upper management for decision‑making and quarterly guidance. Model, analyze, and report on new strategic initiatives to inform the business of challenges and opportunities. Work with key business partners to review, forecast, and analyze various P&L line items. Support the development, monitoring, and reporting of operational metrics and KPIs. Provide ad‑hoc reporting and analysis as requested by senior leadership. Competencies Critical thinker with excellent problem‑solving and financial modeling skills. Advanced Excel modeling expertise, including building scalable financial models using complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation techniques. Working knowledge of VBA, Python, and/or SQL to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets efficiently. Proven ability to integrate and reconcile multiple data sources (ERP systems, databases, flat files) into cohesive, analysis‑ready models. Strong capability to translate complex data into clear financial narratives, highlighting trends, risks, and actionable insights. Exposure to Tableau and Alteryx is a plus. Education & Experience Understanding of key accounting principles. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required; MBA is a plus. Demonstrable and progressive financial analysis experience (3‑5 years). Compensation Pay range: $95,000 – $105,000. Work Schedule This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in‑office days at BJ’s Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA. Monday and Friday are remote days. Benefits Weekly pay. Free BJ’s Memberships (Club Card and Supplemental).
