Surgical Tech

Job Summary Seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with First Assist experience for a cost center 701 assignment. This role requires proficiency in assisting surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities Provide direct surgical first assist to the surgeon. Prepare the operating room by setting up equipment and supplies. Ensure sterile technique is maintained throughout surgical procedures. Anticipate surgeon's needs and provide instruments, supplies, and retractors as needed. Assist with patient positioning, draping, and prepping. Participate in sponge, needle, and instrument counts. Maintain a safe and sterile environment for the patient and surgical team. Assist with hemostasis and wound closure as directed by the surgeon. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to surgical procedures. Assist with post-operative duties, including room cleanup and specimen handling. Schedule / Shift

7:00 AM - 5:0 PM

Required Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification. Successful completion of a recognized First Assist program or equivalent documented training and experience. Current BLS certification. Experience Previous experience as a CST with demonstrated first assist capabilities. Skills Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Adaptability and flexibility.
