This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility while you engage with clients through telehealth and digital platforms. Additionally, our outpatient office in Denison serves as a base for in-person appointments when needed. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including other counselors, psychologists, and medical staff, all focused on delivering integrated treatment. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ history of substance abuse and mental health conditions, utilizing structured interviews and standardized screening tools.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address not only addiction but also any co-occurring mental health disorders, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to foster engagement and support change.

  • Regularly collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and share client progress, enhancing overall treatment efficacy.

  • Educate and involve clients' families in the recovery process, providing resources and support to help them understand addiction and recovery strategies.

  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring that all documentation is timely and precise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders, often compounded by mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. You will work with diverse client demographics, fostering an understanding and empathetic approach to their unique challenges and backgrounds. Your support will be pivotal in guiding clients through their recovery, helping them develop healthy coping strategies and life skills.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess a valid license as either an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or a PsyD, along with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Your educational background should reinforce your capability to deliver quality care and ensure adherence to best practices in mental health treatment.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have specialized training or experience in addiction counseling, as well as a proven understanding of evidence-based practices related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Strong therapeutic skills that empower clients through motivation and guidance are essential, complemented by excellent communication and teamwork skills.

We are proud to provide a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
