Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical Oncology experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Capable of managing a patient ratio of 1:7 effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Oncology-specific certifications such as OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
• Prior experience in cancer care units
• Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, BLS)
• Knowledge of hospital safety protocols and procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Valid RN license in the state of employment
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• At least 1 year of oncology or medical-surgical nursing experience in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• ONS/ONCC certification preferred but not mandatory
• Navy blue scrubs required
• No travel or float duties; weekend and call responsibilities are not required
• Immediate availability with the start date set for 06/10/2026
