SSG SCHOOL-BASED MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM

Clinical Manager Position Type: Supervisor Reports To: Senior Clinical Manager, Director of Client Services Terms of Employment Employee understands that he/she is employed by Employer to provide services to assigned client site at the beginning of the school year (specific date to be determined) and continue through the end of the school year, unless terminated earlier. Employee will be supervised by Employer and should coordinate work, time off request, changes in schedule and any other issues with the supervisor. Essential Duties Provide clinical consultation tailored to clinician experience and need, including regular check-ins, case discussion, and performance feedback at varying frequencies (e.g., weekly, biweekly, or monthly). Serve as a clinical subject matter expert, ensuring delivery of ethical, high-quality services. Oversee clinical service delivery and implementation of company protocols across assigned sites. Act as the primary point of contact for clinicians regarding clinical practice, documentation, and school-based services (e.g., MTSS/SEL supports). Monitor and evaluate clinician performance, including documentation and service delivery. Ensure compliance with district, state, and company policies and procedures. Support onboarding and development of new clinicians, providing increased guidance during initial employment. Provide consultation and oversight for crisis situations and high-risk cases. Maintain relationships with school staff and district partners to support effective service delivery. Support referral growth and appropriate utilization of services within assigned sites. Additional Duties Facilitate communication between clinicians, school personnel, and SSG leadership. Assist with documentation review, compliance monitoring, and reporting. Support program operations, including project coordination and site needs. Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as scheduled. Travel to assigned sites and conferences as required. Maintain required licensure and continuing education compliance. Job Specifications Performance review of this position will be evaluated on an annual time frame in accordance with SSG's employee guidelines. Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other related Behavioral Health field from an accredited Institution of higher learning. Independently licensed to practice in the state of Michigan with one of the following licensures/credentials: LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist. Experience working in the field of Social Work and/or Clinical Counseling with children and adolescents. Experience in a supervisor role within a Behavioral Health setting. Such alternatives to the above SSG may find appropriate and acceptable. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity for the purpose of using a telephone and data entry. Read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids. Hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone. Speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone.
