RF Test Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

· BS in electrical engineering, with coursework focused on analog, RF, and microwave circuits or AS + experience\n· Possess strong RF systems troubleshooting skills\n· Experienced testing and characterizing RF systems up to 40GHz\n· Hands-on lab experience with various electronic measuring devices such as:\n\tnetwork analyzers\n\tdigital voltmeters\n\tspectrum analyzers\n\tOscilloscopes\n\tfunction generators.\n· Read and understand mechanical and schematic drawings\n· Possess good computer skills: Word processing, (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works), Spreadsheets, (Microsoft Excel preferred), Working knowledge of PC operating systems (Windows preferred)\n· Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Able to absorb, assimilate and synthesize information quickly

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience with both analog and digital circuits is a plus

Job Description

Teradyne (North Reading, MA) is seeking to contract an experienced RF Test Engineer to be a part of the AC/RF Hardware Design Team, on-site in North Reading, MA location in accordance with all Government and Company COVID Safety Requirements and Guidance. This organization is responsible for developing state-of-the-art ATE solutions. Problems are multi-faceted, and team members are expected to work closely with other engineering disciplines, software, mechanical, and operations to find solutions.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities:\n· Execution of test procedures for highly complex RF/Microwave prototype boards and instruments\n· Support automated RF/microwave/mmwave test stands in both engineering and pre-production environments\n· Collection, analysis and archiving of data in a logical format to present to the extended design team\n· Debugging test setups and failing boards\n· Accurately describing and documenting failures and issues that arise during the testing and debugging phase\n· Ensures External and Internal Customer Satisfaction.\n· Must be self-motivated, team oriented, “hands-on”, and work with minimal supervision
