divh2Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)/h2pThe Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care to patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team. As an integral member of the health care team, coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with the other members of the healthcare team, patients and/or patients family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics./ppstrongEssential Duties Responsibilities:/strong/pulliAssess patients before surgery and alleviate their concerns/liliGather all supplies needed for the operation/liliKeep operating room sterile/liliPosition and prepare patient on the operating table/liliPass medical instruments or other objects/supplies to the surgeon during operation/liliMonitor patient vital signs to detect anomalies/liliEvaluate patient in post-operative phases/liliAdhere to safety standards and precautions/li/ulp630a-7pm, 3 days 12 hour shift.
