Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Special Education Teachers in the North Denver area for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year! Multiple full-time contract placements are open across elementary, middle, and high school levels, all providing critical educational support in center-based and specialized learning environments. These positions are spread across several campuses, serving a diverse range of students with affective needs and structured learning services.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education certification (CO DOE Cert) is required
• Proven experience in special education, preferably within affective needs, structured learning services, SSN, or as a learning specialist
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Role Details & Expectations:

• Deliver tailored instruction and behavioral support to students in center-based affective needs and structured learning programs or as a learning specialist
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including related service providers and family members
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Employ evidence-based strategies to maximize student growth and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute actively to school-wide initiatives
• Positions available at Centennial Elementary, Westview Elementary, Eagleview Elementary, Westlake Middle School, and Northglenn High School
