Residential Program Manager

JOB SUMMARY
The Program managers oversee day to day operations within their residential program. The Manager's primary responsibility is overseeing the delivery of services provided in the residential setting. The manager is responsible for establishing a positive, trauma‑sensitive, nurturing and healing culture on campus for youth served. They conduct duties with self‑direction and good judgment. The manager oversees budgetary and operational functions within the program, including management of staff working within their program.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manages Residential Services with expertise and strives for excellence. Provides leadership and supervision to direct reports on a regular and consistent basis. Ensures that youth caregivers are providing quality trauma‑informed care to all youth within the program. Develops standards of operation that reflect a nurturing, child‑centered, and family‑like environment on campus and in the cottages. Identifies opportunities for improvement and creates action plans and trainings accordingly. Provides frequent updates to program directors and offers recommendations as needed. Establishes protocols and standards that promote normalcy and co‑parenting with birth families, caregivers, guardians and case management. Ensures youth are safe and receive quality care with medical, mental health, dental, vision, and other services delivered or accessed timely and efficiently. Establishes CHN as an excellent partner with case management and CBC organizations by actively participating in court reviews, staffing and other case‑related meetings, demonstrating expertise and providing comprehensive knowledge about the child. Completes all reports in a professional and timely manner. Ensures all work is completed in accordance with legal and contractual rules and regulations. Monitors annual budget performance for the program, including progress toward budgetary goals and maintaining budgetary performance. Is familiar with the administrative codes related to shelter operation and applies these regulations and operational procedures within supervisions. Works to build teamwork, particularly in the area of cross‑functional responsibilities. Decreases conflict and strives to create a positive, effective environment that staff value. Is available on‑call to employees for crisis situations. Prepares for site visits, audits, etc. to ensure excellent results. Work is reflective of CHN mission and values. Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services or a related field and 2 years progressively responsible experience in social services or the health care industry, with at least one year supervisory experience. or: an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services or a related field and 4 years progressively responsible experience in social services or the health care industry, with at least one year supervisory experience.LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license with no record of criminal driving offense or license suspension. Must possess means of providing job‑related transportation and show proof of required insurance. Must be insurable under CHN’s current auto insurance policy. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must successfully complete and maintain FDLE clearance, federal background and state criminal background check, and sexual predator screening. First Aid and CPR Certified (training available).ANNUAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
The following training topics are required annually: Sexual Harassment, Blood‑born Pathogens, Workplace Accident Prevention and Reporting, Confidentiality and Privacy Practices, Diversity/Cultural Competency, Child Abuse and Neglect Mandated Reporter Statutes and methods, Prevention of Violence in the Workplace, OSHA‑related training, Crisis Prevention, and Program Goals.
