Operations Manager

Volansky Studio is an architectural and interior design firm located in the picturesque town of Stowe, Vermont. We specialize in master planning, architectural design, and project management services for residential, commercial, interior, and landscape projects. The Role As Operations Manager, you’ll be at the center of how the studio runs day to day by supporting the team stay organized and informed. You’ll oversee internal workflows for internal operations and project execution, financial reporting, and communications across departments, ensuring the business operates smoothly so teams can focus on their craft. Who You Are You’re an adaptable, detail-oriented organizer with a strong sense of how effective management supports creative work. You understand the nuance of balancing structure with flexibility and take pride in creating clarity for others. You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities, keeping systems running smoothly, and making sure the right information reaches the right people at the right time. While prior experience in architecture, design, or construction is helpful, what matters most is your ability to think critically, stay organized, and manage information with care. Experience managing team capacity, assessing company benefits and HR practices, managing external company partners, and supporting project tracking are transferable skills. We’ll teach you how our studio operates from our project management tools to our financial systems so you can confidently step into the role and grow alongside the firm. You should be confident using Microsoft tools and comfortable learning new systems. QuickBooks Online experience is a plus but not required. The position is best suited for someone within 45 minutes of Stowe, VT, who can work on-site regularly. A hybrid schedule may be possible depending on experience and studio needs. What We Offer This role begins at 32 hours per week with a gradual increase to a full 40-hour week at $30-32 per hour based on experience. We provide full-time team members with 9 paid holidays and 5 PTO days.
