St. Peter’s Health Partners is seeking a full-time inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Geriatric Psychiatry unit at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. Position Details Provide inpatient psychiatric care for patients on a 20 bed geriatric psychiatry unit Work within a collaborative model of 1 Psychiatrist and 1.5 Nurse Practitioners Average patient volume: 8–9 patients per provider Work closely with interdisciplinary teams and community resources included a dedicated clinical coordinator and social worker on the unit Call Rotation: 1:6 weekends Opportunity Highlights Join a well established, mission driven inpatient behavioral health service Opportunity to specialize in geriatric psychiatry Stable unit structure with predictable patient volumes and workflows Supportive leadership and well coordinated care across the behavioral health continuum Qualifications Board Certification required Current NY State license Open to new graduates Strong clinical and communication skills Commitment to team oriented, patient focused care RECRUITMENT PACKAGE Compensation is between $145,459 and $162,914 commensurate with experience The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
