View email address on apply.placed-app.com Oliver James have recently partnered with a fast-growing middle-market asset manager based in New York as they look to hire a Controller to oversee their Real Estate Credit investment platform which totals $25b AUM.Our client is seeking to hire an experienced (8-12 years) Fund Controller to oversee the fund accounting, financial reporting and operational management of the company’s primary investment platform which focuses within the commercial real estate lending space. They are offering a total compensation package between $350,000 and $450,000, a clear route for progression to the executive level, future eligibility for carry as well as many more excellent benefits! (worth noting this position will be full time in the office)Responsibilities:Oversee all fund accounting, financial reporting, closing processes and operational management across the company’s investment vehicles and related entities.Reviewing and approving of fund financial statements, management fee calculations, investor allocations, general ledgers etc.Manage all capital activity including capital calls, distributions, sub-closes, expense allocations and fund-level cash movements.Lead treasury management across funds and entities, including cash forecasting, subscription facilities, banking relationships and capital planning initiatives.Oversee development of fund-level forecasting, liquidity models, scenario analysis, and strategic financial reporting to support investment decisions.Oversee quarterly valuation processes and drive continuous process improvement across fund finance operations including automation, enhanced controls and AI-enabled reporting.Supervise a team of 6 fund finance professionals.Requirements:8-12 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within real estate or credit.CPA qualification Strong knowledge of US GAAP, fund accounting, investor reporting, fund operations.Prior experience leading and mentoring accounting teams in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with fund accounting systems, Excel and automation tools.Workday and Yardi are preferred systems.Benefits:Total compensation range between $350,000 and $450,000Carry after 12 months of employmentExcellent healthcare benefits & 401k matchClear route for progression to C-Suite/Executive levelRemote working weeks at end of August & DecemberIf you possess the relevant experience within the real estate/credit asset management spaces and are interested in exploring this exciting opportunity, please send a copy of your resume to [email protected] Director – Fund Controller Our client, a leading firm in the Asset Management industry, is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated professional to join their Asset Management Operations department as the Director – Fund Controller.
