User Interface Designer contractors at *** collaborate with designers, product owners, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to create strong design solutions for digital products, services, and channels. Provides expert consultation on the creation of digital experiences that align to client expectations, needs, and ease of access. Participates in design and user research (including usability testing) as a UI team member. Possesses knowledge and understanding of our Design Language System. User Interface Designer II's are encouraged to offer solutions and think creatively about different approaches to expand their skills. Responsibilities UI Design - Work with team members to support the enhancement of the Bank's digital user experience by creating and iterating high-fidelity UI prototypes, visual designs, and digital design assets. Ensure that digital products, services, and channels deliver an efficient, easy-to-use, accessible experience for clients. Leverage the Design Language System to ensure a consistent brand and approach. Can operate independently once briefed and provided with high-level guidance and necessary resources. User Research - Test new designs prior to implementation to support the success of digital products, services, or channel enhancements. Write and execute test briefs for design research. Uncover critical information on user engagement and acceptance through testing activities. Collaboration - Work closely with the design team, project teams, and other stakeholders in the design and enhancement of interactive experiences throughout the Bank. Participate in critiques and reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to elevate the designed experiences. Qualifications Digital design skills including web design, motion, graphic design, and experience with related tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Figma) Understanding of design patterns and visual design language systems Understanding of the internet, web application development, and system design Familiarity with Content Management Systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful) Education Bachelor's Degree Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology and Engineering Industries Technology, Information and Media and Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
