The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full‑time Location: Hybrid – South Sioux City, NE Team: Collaborative accounting team Mission: Ensure cash receipts are recorded accurately and on time, and provide valuable financial information to company leaders. What You’ll Actually Do Cash Management: Accurately and timely record all incoming cash receipts to ensure proper financial tracking. Reconciliation: Conduct daily balancing and reconciliation activities to maintain financial precision and integrity. Reporting: Generate essential financial reports, providing valuable data to company leaders for informed decision-making. Record Keeping: Post journal entries accurately to update financial accounts and maintain comprehensive records. Problem Solving: Engage in daily problem‑solving opportunities, learn new systems, and develop expertise within the accounting and insurance industry. The Must-Haves Background: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field. Experience: Prior work experience in an accounting‑related capacity. Skills: Demonstrated strong attention to detail and a clear ability to identify and resolve discrepancies; comfort with various technologies and the aptitude for learning new systems; professionalism and a positive attitude; excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders; and strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
