Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) role in a travel assignment located in Douglasville, Georgia. Start date: June 29, 2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,578 per week to $1,720 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). Setting: Hospital-based ED with a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. This is a travel - temporary assignment with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care to ED patients across a spectrum of acuity, in collaboration with licensed and unlicensed team members
- Perform initial assessment, triage, continuous monitoring, and timely escalation of patient needs
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and procedures per physician orders and established protocols
- Document care in the electronic medical record, ensure accurate handoffs, and maintain high standards of safety and quality
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement evidence-based care plans and support patient and family education
- Uphold professional practice standards and advocate for the patient, while adhering to infection control and patient safety policies

Requirements
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics; commitment to professional standards
- Ability to work in a high-acuity Emergency Department environment and participate in an interdisciplinary care team
- Demonstrated competence in nursing practice consistent with the ED setting and patient-focused care
- Availability to work nights and participate in a travel temporary assignment

Education and Certifications
- Licensure: Active RN license in Georgia
- Education and additional certifications: Not specified in the job notes; candidates should meet the standard nursing licensure requirements for ED practice
