Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders. Reliable transportation to on-site locations in the Greater Chicago Area and willingness to work in varying weather conditions. The Roofing Foreman is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Chicago Area. The Roofing Foreman supervises roofing crews, coordinates daily job activities, and ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in line with specifications and building codes. Day-to-day tasks include organizing materials and equipment, assigning work, monitoring quality of installation and repairs, and performing hands-on roofing and carpentry work as needed. The role involves inspecting roofs, identifying maintenance and repair needs, communicating with project managers and clients about progress, and maintaining accurate records of work performed. The Roofing Foreman also promotes a safe jobsite by enforcing safety protocols, training crew members, and ensuring proper use of heavy equipment and tools.
